mR. Mickaël Driol
CEO, Mekong Partners
Mickaël Driol is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mekong Partners and Co-Chairman of the Sourcing Committee at the French Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. He is a cross-border investment and industrial strategy advisor with 17 years of leadership experience across China, Europe, Vietnam and Southeast Asia. His work focuses on strengthening Vietnam’s position in global value chains by supporting foreign direct investment, industrial expansion, market entry, supply-chain transformation and EU–ASEAN business cooperation.
Through Mekong Partners and his engagement with business chambers, government institutions, universities and industrial partners, Mickaël contributes to initiatives that connect Vietnam with international investors, manufacturers and policy stakeholders. He is also a regular commentator in international and Vietnamese media on FDI, industrial policy, supply-chain transformation and Vietnam’s economic integration.
He advises Fortune 500 companies, leading European industrial groups, private equity funds and international institutions on investment strategy, cross-border M&A, industrial competitiveness and regional growth, while supporting Vietnam’s efforts to attract higher-quality investment, strengthen domestic business capabilities and deepen links with European and Asian industrial ecosystems.
Prior to Mekong Partners, Mickaël held senior leadership roles at Big Four firms EY and PwC, Tencent and Tricor Group, now Vistra. He also founded and successfully exited two technology ventures in China. His experience includes work with organizations such as Amazon, Toyota, Sanofi, Intel, Nasdaq, the WTO and UNIDO.
He holds three specialized MBAs with Honors, earned in the United States, France and China, and completed postgraduate training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
